What's the job?
You’re organized, a communication pro, a leader, and well-versed in the tools, equipment, and processes of field construction. You’re a SUPERintendent. Lyons Company is hiring for a Mechanical Construction Project Superintendent. You’ll have opportunities to lead and grow within the company and be provided ALL the tools, transportation, and PPE you need to get the job done. While directing all field construction activities, you’ll be communicating with supervisory personnel, engineers, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction issues and run an efficient job.

Job Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ensuring safety of individuals and safe operation practices are adhered to and enforced.
Studying project specifications and plans to prepare field construction schedules.
Work with project manager, field personnel, and subcontractors to create the most efficient construction plan for each assigned project.
Ability to delegate work activities and system responsibilities to team leaders when appropriate.
Must adhere to Lyons Company and regulatory agencies regarding testing and inspection procedures (QA/QC).
Ability to inspect work in progress to ensure conformity to plans, specifications, and codes.
Manage the receiving, usage, and return of all tools, equipment, and materials on the job site.
Must ensure that paperwork on project is accurate, complete, and turned in to the office on time.
Ability to work with project manager to resolve design issues, budget inaccuracies and personnel issues on the project.
Qualifications
Journeyman HVAC License
Journeyman Plumbing License
