Lyons Partners with Barren County Area Technology Center’s HVAC-R Programs

Lyons Mechanical Services partnered with the Barren County Area Technology Center’s HVAC-R, Electrical, and Welding programs to provide valuable opportunities for training, job shadowing, apprenticeships, and cooperative learning. The goal is to network with administration, instructors, and students to build relationships and “grow our own” and cultivate future Team Members.
Through two-way communication, BCATC instructors have insight into our industry needs, allowing them to better prepare and train their students. Since the start of the partnership in the 2023-24 school year, Lyons Mechanical Services has been actively involved in the school community. We attended career fairs, industry nights, signing day, awards night, and provided a lunch and learn to the students.
We are proud to say that two 2024 BCATC graduates secured full-time positions with Lyons, showcasing the positive impact of the partnership. As we look to the 2024-25 school year, we are eager to continue to foster our partnership with the BCATC. We believe together, we can further empower and strengthen the connection between education and industry.
